Energy efficiency promotion project in a compression products manufacturing company in the city of Liepaja.
We have been working with the company ZTF Lāsma since 2019. With the company's manager Lauri Bērziņš we met for the first time at the ZTF Lāsma stand at the international exhibition Tech Industry 2019.
In 2019, ZTF Lāsma executed two projects on behalf of SIA Tonus Elast: “Development, installation and commissioning of an electricity monitoring system” and “Installation of reactive power compensation equipment”. The work was done on time, without delays, qualitatively, in accordance with the project tasks, in positive and creative communication with the company's specialists, who quickly solved work tasks and were always ready to answer our questions.
After the implementation of the reactive power compensation equipment installation project, we no longer have regular costs for reactive energy tg (f) in the monthly bills of the electricity supply operator - they are zero euros, and we forecast a reduction in total electricity supply costs from 3.3 to 3.6% per year. According to calculations, the installed compensator equipment will pay off in 2.5 - 3 years. Prior to the installation of compensating equipment, the coefficient tg (f) exceeded the threshold of 0.4 on average each month due to the use of technological equipment in the company, but after the installation of compensating equipment it decreased to an average level of 0.19-0.2.
The performed works and the achieved goals for 2019 helped SIA Tonus Elast to fully implement the requirements of the ISO 50001 standard, increase energy efficiency and receive the Energy Management System Certificate 50001: 2018.
